Transport Services

Our professional pet transport services are designed to safely and comfortably transport your animals, whether that’s locally, across-state or interstate. Our custom vehicles are specialised and configured with comfortable, secure enclosures built to the latest international standards as defined by IATA. Enclosures are matched to the size of your pet to optimise their travel experience and to ensure a safe, secure and on-time arrival.

We will create a detailed transportation schedule for an interstate journey, or simply lock in a routine pick-up and drop-off within our local coverage area. When using our transport services you are assured that your pet will have a range of comforts and protections:

• IATA-compliant travel enclosures to suit the size of your pet and their travel requirements

• Air conditioning and heating to the load space

• Acoustic vehicle treatment and insulation to reduce road noise, vibrations, heat and harshness

• Fresh rainwater, and nibbles and toys at rest stops (toys are not provided inside the enclosure during transport per IATA international standards)

• Regular stretch and toilet breaks for trips exceeding 1 hour

• For longer interstate trips, regular owner communications and updates, including photos

Welfare Assessment

During transportation of your pet, we observe basic health vitals and stress levels and take action according to our experience and policies. If we have concerns, we will notify you and agree a course of action.

Regular Breaks

For longer trips, it’s important to allow time for stretching, toileting, cuddles and a few games. We use safe rest areas along the route to take a break from the road. For dogs, we keep them safely leashed at all times and allow time for a short walk, a small treat and a few games. For cats, we allow them to stretch their legs in the safety of the Cheery van, tidy their enclosures and provide reassuring cuddles and treats.

Road Safety

While there’s always risk on the roads, you can be assured of the highest levels of roadcraft when we transport your pets. Our vehicles are safe, reliable diesel powered vans configured specifically for animal transport. Our wealth of experience on the open road, driving hundreds of thousands of kilometres accident free demonstrates that while risk is ever-present, driver behaviour can heavily influence road safety.
